Bamboo fleece
It is that time of year again when our bamboo fleece runs out. Not to worry! More is ordered and on the way for a March 22 delivery. We do have other bamboo fabric choices, even other fleeces! We offer a heavy bamboo fleece as well as our stretch bamboo fleece. Both great weights, and serve a lot of the same purposes as our regular weight fleece.

Bamboo Velour
We have a great assortment of bamboo velour in stock and ready to ship. There are about 15 colors, something for everyone. Bamboo velour makes great garments, trim and accessories.
We have so many things made from bamboo velour; pillows for the couch, blankets, pajama’s, yoga pants and pillow cases. We have used bamboo velour as accent trim on hoodies and pajamas.
The wash routine for bamboo velour is super, just wash warm or cold, rinse cold and dry until dry. We have never experienced the piling or matting that others have spoken of, it stays true to what it starts out as.

Bamboo Fabric
Our newest shipment of bamboo fabric has arrived and they are as lovely as usual! Each month we receive between 1000 and 2000 yards of bamboo fabric into our warehouse for staging. At that time we decide what needs to drop ship to our customers, what needs to drop ship to us, and then what remains for later drop ships. We typically carry 1000 yards month to month just so we are sure to have stock.
We are currently planning our orders that will come sometime near the end of April. The order for the end of March was placed in early January. I am not sure really, but I am hoping the new colors of bamboo velour we requested get pushed through. It is time for new color! We will certainly be stocking up on bamboo fleece, bamboo heavy fleece and bamboo terry of all kinds!

Cotton Velour
Cotton velour is quickly becoming one of our best sellers. It is soft, washes well, and stays true wash after wash. Our cotton velour is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Polyester is found in the backing of most all the cotton velour available today. It adds stability to the fibers.
Most all of the cotton velour we carry is 54″ wide and weighs in at about 13 ounces per linear yard. It will not shrink a lot, and most is colorfast, the royal blue may be the exception.
Cotton velour has as many uses as there are patterns. I have personally used it for pajamas, lounge pants, tops, shorts and diapers. If your pattern calls for a knit, cotton velour will work.
